Job Description

Our client is an innovative company in the hospitality technology space, specializing in AI-driven solutions to help hotels improve their operations and customer experiences. By providing cutting-edge tools to enhance staff efficiency and guest satisfaction, they are transforming the hospitality industry. They are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing team and help drive business development through effective lead qualification and appointment setting.

Location:
Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads through outbound efforts and inbound opportunities. You will use the provided scripts and contact lists to initiate conversations, engage with leads, and ultimately set qualified appointments for the sales team. With proficiency in GHL, email sequences, and outbound dialing, you will play a key role in the company's growth and success in the hospitality tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Qualification & Outreach:

    • Conduct outbound calls using provided contact lists, scripts, and email sequences to engage potential customers.

    • Leverage LinkedIn messaging to initiate and nurture conversations with prospects.

    • Qualify leads based on their needs, interest level, and fit for the product offering.

  • Appointment Setting:

    • Focus on setting qualified appointments for the sales team, ensuring that prospects are properly briefed and ready for the next steps.

    • Use CRM tools (GHL) to manage and track leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective outreach.

  • Call Management & Training:

    • Record calls for quality assurance, auditing, and training purposes.

    • Continuously improve outreach efforts based on feedback and performance metrics.

  • Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead qualification processes.

    • Stay aligned with the team to ensure a consistent and effective sales approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 1+ years of experience in a sales development or similar role, with a strong track record of outbound sales success.

    • Hospitality industry experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in CRM systems (GHL preferred).

    • Experience in managing email sequences and outbound dialing campaigns.

    • Strong English fluency, both written and verbal.

  • Attributes:

    • Motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

    • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive results.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly appointment-setting goals.

  • Maintaining an organized, up-to-date pipeline within the CRM.

  • High lead-to-appointment conversion rates, demonstrating effective qualification and communication.

  • Positive feedback from the sales team regarding the quality and readiness of appointments.
