Our client is a consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in business process optimization and marketing technology implementation. They work with a diverse range of clients, driving revenue through advertising and optimizing operations.
As they expand their efforts, they are seeking a proactive and results-drivenBusiness Development Representative (BDR) to help grow their client base and optimize their sales processes. This person will play a key role in reaching out to new leads, qualifying them, and contributing to the company's growth.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, remote role where you'll be working closely with the sales team to qualify and convert inbound and outbound leads. You'll focus on building strong client relationships, handling both warm leads and cold outreach, and ensuring that leads are nurtured and properly followed up with.
The BDR will help drive the sales pipeline by leveraging their expertise in marketing and sales processes. Your focus will be on reaching out to prospects, qualifying them, and supporting the sales team with all stages of the process.
Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 6 PM EST
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Use marketing campaigns and inbound lead generation to build and manage a pipeline of potential clients.
Outbound Sales: Conduct cold calls and emails, targeting key accounts and verticals based on market research.
Inbound Sales: Convert leads who have already shown interest in a solution or service through marketing efforts like content, ads, referrals, and other lead generation efforts.
Lead Qualification: Assess the quality of leads through email and phone outreach, ensuring they are passed on to the sales team when appropriate.
Client Outreach: Engage with warm leads who have shown interest in the company’s services, and re-engage with leads that have gone cold.
Market Research: Research and target companies and individuals that could benefit from the company’s services.
Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to ensure lead generation efforts align with company goals and messaging.
Reporting: Regularly track lead activity, provide feedback on lead generation strategies, and report on results to the sales team.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 1-2 years in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Sales Focus: Experience in handling both cold and warm leads, with an ability to qualify prospects effectively.
Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing tools and processes, particularly in driving revenue through marketing strategies.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage potential clients clearly and confidently.
Goal-Oriented: Ability to meet sales targets, track progress, and be results-driven.
CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with using CRM tools to manage and track leads (Zoho CRM preferred but not a requirement)
Nice to Have:
Marketing or Sales Experience in the Consulting Sector: Knowledge of consulting services, especially in marketing and business process optimization.
Experience in Tech or SaaS Sales: Experience in selling tech or SaaS products is a bonus.
Fluency in English: Native-level English proficiency, with a clear and articulate communication style.
Commission-Based Sales: Ability to work in an environment with performance-based compensation.
